Know all Men by these presents that we Anne McFadden, John Morrison and William McDonald of the said State and County planters(?) are held and firmly bound to John Winn, RIchard Winn and James Craig, Esquires three of the Justices of the said County in the sum of 20 pounds sterling to be paid to the said John Winn, Richard Winn and James Craig or their successors in office for the time being or their certain Attorney, Executors, Administrators or assigns for which payment to be well and truly made we bind ourselves and each of us for himself and each of our Heirs, Executors and Administrators firmly by these presents sealed with our seals dated the first day of November in the year of our Lord 1790 and the 15th of American Independence.
The Condition of the above obligation is such that if the above bound Anne McFadden, administratix of the Goods, Chattels and Credits of William McFadden deceased do make a true and perfect Inventory of all said Singular the Goods, Chattels and Credits of the said deceased which have or shall come to the hands, possessions or knowledge of the said Anne McFadden or into the hands or possession of any other person or persons for heirs and the same to made to which into the said Court of Fairfield when he shall be thereto required and such Goods, Chattels and Credits do well and truly administer according to taxes and do make adjust said true amount of his attorneys and doings therein when required by the Court and all the rest of the Goods, Chattels and Credits which shall be found remaining from amount of the said administration the same being first allowed by the said Court shall deliver and pay unto such persons respectively as are entitled to the same by law; and if it shall thereafter appear that any Last Will and Testament was made by the said deceased and the same be proven in Court and the Executors obtain a Certificate of the probate thereof and the said Anne McFadden do in such case if required render and deliver up the said letters of administration then this obligation to be void else to remain in full force.
