This indenture made this tenth day of March 1827 between George Waller and Jacob Swyert (?) executor of William Sittett(?) deceased by J. P. Hatcher their attorney in fact whose power is recorded in the offices of the Knox & Laurel County Court of the one part, and Jesse McFadden of the County of Laurel of the other part witnesseth, that for and in consideration of seventy five dollars Commonwealth Bank Notes to them in hand paid the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, they have granted, bargained & sold & by these presents doth grant, bargain sell and convey unto the said Jesse McFadden a certain tract of land whereon the said Jesse now heirs (?) containing by estimation four hundred acres be the same more land or less agreeable to the boundary hereafter set forth (to wit) beginning at two Spanish oaks and dogwood running thence N60W75 poles to a hickory, thence N15W70 poles a white oak, thence N60W70 poles white oak thence N29E70 poles to a white oak and hickory or 4 W.O. thence N20E200 poles to a hickory poplar and dogwood thence N78E20 poles to a white oak thence S25E46 poles to a Spanish oak thence E20 poles to a hickory thence S11E60 poles to a Spanish oak thence S5E32 poles to a stake thence S20W to a black oak in the line of Robert Jones, Jr. thence N70W to a gum corner on the branch thence S16W200 poles to a white oak thence S80W20 poles to the beginning. 

With in appurtenances to have and to hold the above described premises unto him the said Jesse McFadden and his heirs forever, they the said George Waller and Jacob Swyert for themselves their heirs will warrant and forever defend against themselves their heirs and against the claim of all persons whatsoever claim thru by or under them, or either of them and against the claim of all persons claiming under the patent of Jacob Brehmer or through by or under either or any of them, in witnesseth whereof they the said Waller and Swyert by their attorney aforesaid hath hereunto set their hand and seals the date and year first above written.

I Lot Pitman clerk of the county court aforesaid do certify that the foregoing deed from Waller and Swyert to Jesse McFadden was produced to me 15th day of March last and acknowledged  by J. P.
