JAMES DAVIDSON
1941 - 2003
James H. "Jim" Davidson, 61, E. Hwy. 1223, Corbin, passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2003 at Marymount Medical Center.
He was the son of Reecie Kilgore Davidson and the late Charles D. Davidson. He was born Oct. 28, 1941at Appalachia, Va. and was the owner of Jim's Pay Lake.
He was a member of Poplar Grove Baptist Church and Cumberland Valley Masonic Lodge #751 F&AM.
He is survived by his wife Dixie Harkleroad Davidson, of Corbin; his mother, Reecie Kilgore Davidson, of Corbin; three daughters, Nancy Davidson Foley and husband David, of Columbus, Ind., Jodi Davidson Wilson and husband Danny (D.C.), of Corbin and Jayme Davidson Harl, of Corbin; a brother Charles Davidson Jr., of Franklin, Ohio; and six grandchildren, Holly Davidson, Todd Smith, Jessica Harl, Wesley Harl, Patrick Foley and Rachel Foley.
The funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 10, 2003 at Corbin Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Jacob Flannery officiating. Burial will be at McFadden Cemetery in Fariston.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Friday (today) at the funeral home.
Masonic services will be held at 7 p.m. Friday (today) May 9, 2003 at Corbin Funeral Home.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Markey Cancer Center Lexington, Ky.
