Know all men by these presents that we Isaac Moore and Joseph S. Barry are held and firmly bound unto Charles Scott Esq. Governor of the state of Kentucky and to his successors in office in the sum of fifty pounds Current money which payment will and truly to be made.
We bind ourselves and our Heirs firmly by these present Sealed and dated this 29th day of January 1810. The Condition of this Obligation is such that if there be no lawful cause to prevent a marriage intended between the above bound Isaac Moore and Patsy Berry then this Obligation to be void else to remain in full force and value. I Martha Moore administrarix of the estate of Isaac Moore deceased do Solemnly Swear in the best of my Knowledge and believe that the deceased died intestate and that I will make a perfect inventory of Said estate and faithfully administer said estate according to Law pay the debts as far as the assets will extend and the law directs and in general do and perform all other acts and things touching Said administration Judgement is decreed any having Lawful Indication and that the deceased has the following heirs to wit: Nancy Ann Greer, Mary J. McGee, Martha W. Madkins, Briscilla Majers, Caroline Hawkins & Isaac Moore all residents of the county and state aforesaid and Wm Moore of Monroe County Mo. Martha Moore X her mark. To the Sheriff of Macon County, Greeting: Whereas Martha Moore having administered upon the estate of Isaac Moore, Dec'd, and it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that certain property belonging to said estate is unlawfully in the hands of Isaac Moore. The property is more particularly described as follows: One Bay Horse, one set of Chairs, one handsaw, drawing knife, one shovel. These are therefore to command you, the sheriff of the County and State aforesaid to forthwith take said described property and restore it to the Administratrix aforesaid, And return to the undersigned Probate Judge here you have executed this writ. Given under my hand and seal of Court this 9th day of November A.D. 1855. J. T. Johnston, Probate Judge.
